Needles UFO Incident in California Desert
The unidentified object that darted across the sky had a turquoise glow to it. Witnesses to the UFO crash claimed it looked like some sort of spacecraft, but it is unknown exactly what crashed in the desert during the early hours of the morning around 3am.
A witness known as ‘Bob on the River’, a fictitious name to keep his identity private, claimed that the object made a loud thud when it hit the ground.
To add to the mystery, military personnel rushed to the scene with helicopters and a large sky crane helicopter within 20 minutes of the incident.
‘Bob on the River’ claimed that the oval shaped object was hoisted up by the sky crane chopper. The terrain where the Needles UFO crashed is a flood-prone area and is covered in very fine sand and thick scrub brush, making a helicopter the best way to get there.
Bob said it was still glowing when the sky crane chopper flew it away in to darkness with support vehicles.
Multiple law enforcement agencies and aviation agencies were contacted in the weeks following the Needles UFO crash, but none of them were able to confirm an unidentified object at the date of the crash. However, a military watchdog group managed to prove there was at least one military craft in the air that night from public records.
Though the Needles UFO crash is an interesting story and still an unsolved mystery, it is probably attributed to secret military technology that was being tested or it could have been transporting sensitive data or materials, similar to the 1947 Roswell incident that was attributed to Project Mogul, despite a good percentage of Ufologists still believing it was super-intelligent aliens that traveled across the universe to crash in an unobstructed desert.
It would seem logical that a sky crane chopper would be ready to retrieve secret craft technology if they were testing something in the deserts and getting to the scene that fast certainly doesn’t aroused our suspicion that it was anything from another planet.
