Explorers of the Wild North Expedition Club have discovered what appears to be a massive pyramid hidden within the Subpolar Urals, a mountain range in Russia that’s rather inaccessible by ground.
Aerial images of a region in the Ural mountains, taken from a helicopter, have noticed a pyramid-like structure that is much larger than the world-famous Great Pyramid at Giza, in Egypt. But before dismissed as a natural structure…
After calculations, the massive pyramid is said to be 800 meters high, what’s very strange about the structure is that the four sides line up exactly with earth’s four cardinal points, just like the pyramids in Mexico, China, and the Great Pyramid at Giza, something we discuss in details here.
The co-ordinates were shared on a Russian media article, which you can plug into Google maps to see the exact location, or better yet, you can use Google Earth to see it in more detail: 65°24’08.1″N 61°42’09.1″E.
Claims of the massive pyramid discovery have flooded Russian media of the structure standing on an arc of a meteorite impact crater.
The Khanty and Mansi people try not to visit the upper reaches of where the mysterious pyramid was located because they consider the area sacred. Further more, you can only get to the pyramid on foot by walking the 400 kilometers through the rough terrain.
The Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society are planning an expedition to the Narodo-Ityinsky Ridge this year, but this pyramid has not yet been included in the expedition program, the Russian Geographical Society officially announced.
