We’ve created this to answer the Rendlesham Forest UFO questions that no one seems to have concluded. We aren’t claiming any of this is factual, but we are sharing them as they could be.
What was seen in Rendlesham Forest?
Assuming the Rendlesham Forest incident was in fact some craft or object that was not man made, it’s obvious it would be from another civilization and another planet. One far more advanced than us as it was able to visit our planet, while we’re not able to get to theirs, nor have we even managed to find evidence of life on other planets as of 2020. If you discard the part of the Rendlesham incident where there was a report of three beings, which could be fictitious anyway, then it’s possible the object that landed was just a probe. It would have been extremely small for a crew of three to ride in from a far away planet or system and it’s unlikely they would have even sent beings to earth if they had such advanced technology. A probe would have done the job of observing and collecting the data.
Alternatively, it could have been dispatched to earth from a larger ship that was stationed outside our atmosphere at the time of the incident. It seems unlikely that it was a single vehicle that traveled, potentially millions of miles on its own with three crew on board a tiny craft.
If you’re not in favor of the ”probe” theory of ours, then there could have been an extra-terrestrial pilot in there which came to earth through a higher dimension.
What were the lights on the craft?
Assuming it was of alien origin, this is a difficult question to answer without knowing how the craft was constructed, its fuel source or its navigation system. It’s possible that the lights were simply for navigation, but they could have been used for something far more advanced, such as an entry system or teleportation system. When Burroughs disappeared into the lights, that certainly suggests that they used said lights as a way of harnessing or transporting matter from one place to another, in this case, a human being.
How did the craft take off?
Again, without understanding the mechanics of the craft and the fuel system, it’s difficult to answer, but it appears that its fuel system used energy or gravity from the atmosphere that it somehow converted into ”fuel” to power the craft. It certainly wasn’t solid or liquid fuel, mainly because its take-off was silent and there was no exhaust system reported on the craft. The two minutes it took to rise above the tree line could have been it ”charging” for take off.
It’s possible that the black opaque glass that Penniston described actually worked as their fuel system. It may be able to harness the energy around it to propel the craft through the air, similar to solar cells harnessing energy from the sun, this opaque glass could have harnessed energy from the atmosphere. We just don’t understand physics well enough to give a perfect explanation of how to harness energy or matter and turn it into a recyclable fuel source. If we did, we’d probably find other life in the universe.
How could it travel so fast?
The craft didn’t appear to be as susceptible to gravity as man-made rockets if Penniston’s description of ”speed impossible” was accurate. Let’s say it traveled out of sight in the blink of an eye. That would mean it was able to go, conservatively, 5 miles per second from a still start. That’s about 18,000 miles an hour providing it didn’t increase speed after take off.
Considering that was inside the earth’s atmosphere from being a still start, it went from 0-18,000mph in a split second. That speed is so far away from anything we can build today for travel within our atmosphere, so it’s obvious they’re not building their transportation with the same materials and methods as us.
Maybe they use gravity as one of their fuel sources or they’ve discovered the technology that allows for anti-gravity so they can travel at rapid speed, even in earth’s atmosphere which was a strong gravitational pull. Maybe it was ten times faster than that and it was actually traveling at light speed. Whatever the speed, it was using technology so advanced we can’t even begin to understand it 40 years later.
Why was the tape recording stopped so many times?
Logical thinking says it was because Halt was trying to reserve the battery or the space on the tape for when something happened. In 1980, there wasn’t the technology we had today and he had no idea how long he would be out there. Also, there would just be no need to record the whole investigation because if something happened, recording it would be a push of a button away.
Alternatively, it could have in fact been certain agencies editing the public tape, trying to hide reports that were actually recorded that night.
Why was the UFO interested in nuclear weapons?
It’s likely they were just checking them. Alternatively, the nuclear weapons could have aroused their interest after being seen from a scanner on their craft/probe. It’ll probably never be known what the craft’s exact mission was, but the nuclear weapons probably just aroused their curiosity. Another reason could be that they wanted to observe our weaponry.
Why did Penniston wait fourteen years to decipher the binary?
This could be the make or break question to the authenticity of this entire case being related to extra-terrestrials. The only thing that makes the deciphered binary a little shaky is the timescale.
If it was deciphered the next day, no one would question its authenticity because it’s not easy to conceal such a message in binary code and it takes some time, but it certainly wouldn’t take fourteen years. If the binary code is authentic and was delivered to Penniston’s mind from the craft, then that alone concludes that alien life does exist because no country in the world are not able to understand such technology.
Looking at this objectively, it could be that Penniston was completely traumatized by the whole Rendlesham Forest UFO event. It could be that he was traumatized by the events following the UFO experience with the interview process. Though he was a military officer, he’s still human.
It could be that he was scared by the special units that interviewed the men that witnessed the event and didn’t want to have any further involvement by sharing that he had binary code that was a transmitted message from touching the craft.
The other reason could be that he simply didn’t think anything of it and forgot, not wanting to have anything more to do with it. Of course, Penniston is the only one that can really answer this question and you can see his reasons in the Encounter in Rendlesham Forest book.
Why did the UFO return on the second night to the same place?
It’s very unusual for a UFO to revisit the same site the following night, this has only happened a couple of times in history when looking at very credible cases, such as The Belgium Wave.
There’s many reasons the UFO could have returned on the second night, but the most obvious is that the probe or the craft landed for a reason, maybe to look at the nuclear weapons, and they were disturbed before they were able to complete their mission due to being interrupted by the military, so they returned on the second night with more crafts/probes to finalize whatever it is they were trying to achieve.
Why would an advanced civilization use binary code at their stage of development?
It’s probable that a civilization so advanced would either have evolved beyond language or use telekinesis; brain to brain communication. This would support the claims that Penniston had a message burned onto his mind. The reason for the binary could be that it was the most effective way to communicate with us or the message was never meant to be communicated to us and Penniston received it by touching the craft.
Of course, if you believe we’re living in a simulated reality and the advanced civilization sent that craft from base reality, binary would seem logical.
Why would an advanced civilizations have a need to travel in machines/crafts?
Short of fully bionic bodies with a propellant system, like Iron Man, they would still have some of the same threats on their biological body from space that we would. Radiation, temperature, g-force, gravity, etc.
If you read the book; 2050: Being Human in the Future, it illustrates that by 2050, death may be optional due to medical advances in technology and anti-aging. This would allow for bionic bodies, 3D printed organs and a silicon clone of the human brain with a replica neural network of our own.
Theoretically, we could be like Iron Man and the universe would be our oyster. Though the book states death will be optional by 2050, the technology needed to fly around the universe like Iron Man could be thousands of year away, which is still nothing on the evolutionary scale.
Why would a future civilization, possibly 6000 years ahead of us, need anything resembling 21st Century science?
The truth is, they probably wouldn’t, which begs the question, why did they land in the Rendlesham forest? They could have been passing through our solar system and noticed an inhabited planet. They could have needed to re-fuel their ship with gravity or something abundant in our atmosphere. They could be observing us, the list goes on.
Was Rendlesham an event where we were visited from an advanced civilization?
If the reports from the Rendlesham Forest UFO were true and genuine with no false information, then the reports and events from that night, to us, were indeed an extra-terrestrial craft that visited earth.
We don’t think it was technology from another country, a security breach or any other man-made object. If the reports are not true, well, the entire story crumbled and becomes an entertaining event of nothingness for ufologists.
