Despite the closing of Project Blue Book in December 1969, just six months after humans landed on the moon during the Apollo mission, the US government carried on research of unidentified flying objects and the potential of extra-terrestrial life and alien technology.
Interestingly, Project Blue Book was also mentioned by US government personnel in 1980 after the best document UFO case of all time, which suggests more and more that something was discovered for them to close the program and not discuss government research any further.
That was until the the secret US Government UFO program’s video leaked in 2007, then again in 2017. Two of the videos were published by the New York Times, and the third was leaked by another organization which was co-founded by Tom DeLonge, former Blink-182 singer.
In April 2020, the US Department of Defense were forced to release three videos of ”unexplained aerial phenomena”. The Pentagon said they wanted to “clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real”.
Luis Elizondo, a former military intelligence official who ran the Pentagon’s secret UFO program, said in an interview with CNN that:
”These aircraft are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory, nor in any foreign inventory that we’re aware of. My personal belief is that there’s very compelling evidence that we may not be alone.”
