On November 7th, 2006, Chicago became one of the most talked about airports in the media and the event became known as the O’Hare Airport UFO.
At around 4:15pm, an unidentified aerial object was spotted at the O’Hare airport in Chicago and wasn’t just the report of a single person. There were a total of 12 United Airlines employees that reported the UFO as well as another witness known as Andres, who spotted the UFO from outside the airport.
There no telling how many other people spotted the UFO, but it could have been many more than just the 13 total people that reported the sighting. Despite reports coming in, the FAA refused to investigate as the UFO wasn’t seen on radar and they attributed it to a “weather phenomenon”.
Given the size, shape and description of the UFO, we struggle to attribute a large black disc very low to the ground that shot off into the clouds at impossible speeds to a “weather phenomenon”.
In favor of the UFO being an aerial craft from an advanced civilization, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that such vehicle could avoid being seen on radar, despite previous cases such as the 1953 Kinross UFO incident where a military jet vanished into thin air and the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident that were both clearly caught on radar.
If it was in fact an alien craft, it showed complete disregard for the restricted airspace (and it would be intelligent enough to know it was an airport), but UFOs have shown throughout history that they have no regard for our airspace, fighter jets or ground defenses, such as the 1942 Battle of Los Angeles and the 1976 Iranian UFO.
Many have claimed online that the O’Hare Airport UFO was attributed to military technology, but that’s extremely unlikely as the craft showcased speed and movement that can’t be performed by anything in human inventory and on top of that, the military would never fly that low over an airport, which is restricted airspace.
If it was military, then the technology used would have bled into other industries by now, but we’ve seen nothing that can perform anything close to the technological level of the O’Hare Airport UFO.
Was it an extra-terrestrial craft? Possibly, but we will probably never be able to prove it unless they choose to return.
